Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 June 2026
PrepAssure ("we", "us") operates prepassure.com, an exam-preparation service for Nigerian senior-secondary students and their parents. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account details you provide: full name, email, password, and whether you are a student or parent.
- Practice activity: the questions you attempt, your answers, scores, subjects and topics, used to show your progress.
- Family links: if you choose to connect a parent and a child, the email addresses you provide for that link.
- Tutor applications and booking requests: the contact details and preferences you submit.
How we use your information
- To run the service, save your practice and show your progress.
- To connect a parent and a child, only after the student confirms the link.
- To handle tutor applications and tutoring requests you submit.
- To keep the service secure and to improve it.
Children and family accounts
PrepAssure is built for senior-secondary students. A parent can see a child's progress only after the student confirms the link from their own account. We do not sell children's data or use it for advertising.
How your data is shared
We use Supabase as our database and authentication provider, acting as our processor. We do not sell your personal data. A child's progress is shared with a linked parent only after the child confirms the connection. We may disclose data if required by law.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and access is enforced at the database level so each account can only reach its own data (and, for confirmed parents, their child's progress). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your account and data. To make a request, email us at the address below.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data except where we must keep records by law.
